Fairfield Rancho Vistoso - Oro Valley
This is a lovely gated community of 68 single family homes built in 2001 that border 2 holes of The Golf Club at Vistoso, the best public golf course in Tucson. It is located off of Vistoso Highlands Drive in the northwest part of the Rancho Vistoso master planned development of Oro Valley just outside one entrance to Stone Canyon, the most exclusive and private guard-gated golf community in southern Arizona. Views of the rugged Catalina and Tortolita Mountains from this development are absolutely stunning!
These well-built masonry block and stucco single story southwest homes range from 1941 to 2550 square feet and feature a great-room layout with 2-3 bedrooms or den and either a 2 or 3 car garage. Some homes have private swimming pools and / or spas, gated front patios, and even a guest casita. Almost all are built on a zero lot line concept which means that the wall of your neighbor’s house is on your shared lot line. This concept allows a close density of homes without being claustrophobic or having a loss of privacy as experienced in most developments today where land is at a premium. As a result, each home has a generous side yard with complete privacy since there are no windows on the side of your neighbor’s home that faces yours. In addition, while the sizes of the rear yards vary, most are large enough for a swimming pool, spa, BBQ area, and / or large patio.
Fairfield Rancho Vistoso is a small, friendly and socially active neighborhood. There is a large and lovely common area with a swimming pool, spa and BBQ area. Often, neighborhood-wide social events are held at this pool area throughout the winter and spring seasons. Our agent Barbara Bardach lives in this neighborhood year round and manages the Neighborhood Directory as well as organizes ladies’ luncheons every 4-6 weeks which help owners get to know their neighbors. Most of the 68 residents are “snowbirds” from all over the country. The local Homeowners Association and associated CC&Rs (Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions) maintain consistency and control modifications and additions through specified rules of conformity which enhance home values. Currently, prices in this outstanding Oro Valley neighborhood range from around $450,000 and up.
