The Estates at High Mesa

This gated community located in Rancho Vsitoso in Oro Valley, Arizona, hosts street names such as: Placita Montanas de Oro, Placita Meseta Dorado, Placita Del Cerro Lindo, etc. Needless to say, more than a mouthful! The Ridge top development was designed by Gary Almli. He is a Tucson builder/developer who has since retired labeling The Estates at High Mesa to represent the pinnacle of his success. He is not only a spectacular human being but very conscience and dearly appreciated for his work by his many clients.

Each street lay on a ridge line to capitalize4 on Majestic Catalina Mountain Views, Tortolita Mountain Views and stunning city lights of Tucson Arizona. The home sites are each individual and all possess a special view corridor. Mr. Almli did a spectacular job to ensure that each home site had a personality, a sense of space and a special view.

The subdivision is close to being built out with custom homes. There are a handful of privately owned lots that have not had custom homes created on them…yet. It is rare to find a custom home site for sale in this development because it is so coveted. The home sites range from meticulously laid out half acre parcels to well over an acre. The subdivision is masterly transposed on the topography that each homesite feels as though it posses a special attribute such as open space, Catalina Mountains in your face, or washes that spill into the largest wash in Rancho Vistoso coined “ Big Wash.”

Homes in the subdivision range from the $600,000 to well over a million. Depending on the view corridors, floor plan, finish and architecture, all effect the property values. It seems that in Tucson, the general rule of thumb that dictates property vales are views, views, views!
