Stone Canyon - Oro Valley
Nestled in the Tortolita Mountains with stunning views of the rugged west face of the incomparable Santa Catalina Mountains, Stone Canyon is an ultra-exclusive, guard-gated, 1400 acre private estate golf community located less than 15 miles northwest of Tucson. Stone Canyon offers the best golf experience in southern Arizona and one of the most dramatic golf courses in the country.

Surrounding the exquisite 18-hole desert course designed by renowned golf course designer Jay Morrish, Stone Canyon offers a variety of property ownership options: estate-sized custom home sites, custom homes, and several small neighborhoods of designer and patio homes. Land prices range from $400,000 to over $1 Million; custom homes start around $1.5 Million and designer and patio homes start around $1 Million. In February of 2007, Stone Canyon will be the site of the “Street of Dreams” - a group of around a dozen custom homes that will be open for public viewing. These will showcase some of the most exclusive architecture and styling anywhere in the Tucson area. For an overview of the community’s layout including future developments, see site plan.

Socially, the Stone Canyon Club also offers world-class options. The recently opened and beautiful Tuscan-styled Swim, Fitness, and Tennis Facility with spa services (approximately 8,000 square feet) is planned to be complemented by construction of an approximately 35,000 square foot clubhouse. Golf Memberships are limited and require property ownership (currently, initiation fee is $90,000 plus another $90,000 when the club moves to equity ownership - it’s possible that this may be increased to $100,000 in the near future); Social Memberships (currently a $25,000 initiation fee) also require property ownership. Both types of memberships have monthly dues. All owners within Stone Canyon are subject to two homeowners’ associations (Stone Canyon and the master community of Rancho Vistoso).

With amazing views of the mountains and the Tucson city lights from its 3000 foot altitude, Stone Canyon offers an unparalleled desert living experience.
